On 9th December 2023, Wawasan Open University received its Strategic Partner Appreciation Certificate at Penang Goes Orange (PGO) 2023 Campaign Closing Ceremony, which was held at SMK Tasek Mutiara, Simpang Ampat.
Ten students from Penang received full scholarships for their studies at WOU, pursuant to the University’s collaboration with the state government and Penang Women’s Development Corporation (PWDC).
WOU has recognised the contributions of Malaysia’s eminent archaeologist, Emeritus Prof Dato’ Dr Zuraina Abdul Majid, with the award of an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humanities during its Convocation ceremony held at the stunning seaside campus on 25 November 2023.
